Artist's Statement
“Keep Austin Weird” is the unofficial slogan for the Capital of Texas and my hometown, Austin. A group of local characters do their part to support this mantra by creating “art cars”. Artwork on wheels, these creations are limited only by one’s imagination. I have always been fascinated at these automobiles adorned with everything from cereal boxes to dolls. But I find it most interesting when I focus in on the details and discover a new world or point of view that I create for myself. These images are a reflection of that process.
