Artist's Statement
These photographs are from an ongoing series titled "Memory Play" (an homage to Tennesee Williams). The scenes are from old black and white movies photographed off live television, shot in soft focus and reconfigured in camera. Because of the chance nature of what is captured at the click of the shutter, the images have the quality of a fleeting memory or the ghostly rememberance of a forgotten dream.
