Brian Gorman
Biography
As a child in the 1950s, I learned the power of the still image. In 1998, I began to explore my growing passion for photography. Technical training at The New School was followed by extensive coursework in portraiture and personal projects at The International Center of Photography. My photography has been influenced by such artists as Imogen Cunningham, William Gedney, George Platt Lynes, and John Coplans.

Artist's Statement
Each of us has many ways of being. When we come together as two, those ways of being grow exponentially. In my Intimacy portfolio, I have the honor of witnessing—and recording—our being together as sexual, sensual, erotic, but most importantly, as intimate men. Some moments of intimacy are just that, moments. Others are drops in a never-ending stream of togetherness. Whether forever or for the moment, every moment of intimacy is beautiful.
