Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Elio has been drawn by the world of art since his teens. Working in the travel industry for the past 20 years has enabled him to experience the rich diversity of global cultures and started his interest in photography. After moving to New York City he has continued his development as a photographer, studying at Pratt Institute and the International Center of Photography.
